- Free 20-Minute Consultations: Perfect for resolving simple WHS issues. For more complex matters, Safety First Professionals will provide a quotation before any additional charges are incurred.
- Comprehensive WHS Manual: ACWA members can access an updated WHS Manual that includes the latest changes to WHS laws. It also features easy-to-use templates and documents tailored for car wash operators to meet their obligations.
Exclusive Opportunity for Victorian Members
Bill from Safety First Professionals has highlighted a fantastic opportunity for Victorian-based small businesses: the Safety Essentials for Small Businesses Program.
What Is It?
This free program, funded by the Victorian Government and administered by WorkSafe, offers personalised, on-site safety consultations delivered by experienced consultants from Safety First Professionals. Importantly, the program is independent of WorkSafe, and the results of your consultations are not reported back to them.
How It Works
- Initial Visit: A consultant will visit your site, assess your business, identify hazards, and provide practical safety advice. You’ll receive a customised safety action plan.
- Follow-Up Visit: Within 3-6 months, the consultant will return to review the plan, discuss progress, and provide additional advice.
- Final Visit: After 9-12 months, they’ll assess the improvements you’ve made, celebrate successes, and address any ongoing challenges.
Eligibility
- Open to Victorian small businesses with fewer than 60 employees.
- The program is completely free and requires minimal time commitment:
- Initial visit: up to 3.5 hours
- Follow-up visit: up to 2 hours
- Final visit: up to 3 hours
